Mulebuy’s fee lines and photo services as archived last summer

Mulebuy was a shopping agent with a warehouse in Guangdong. This page records what its help pages and notices said between May and August 2026, in the past tense, and what that means for a reader holding a Mulebuy find today.

What Mulebuy was, from its archived pages

Mulebuy described itself as a purchasing agent platform rather than a shop: in its terms as archived in August 2026 it said it was not the actual seller of the goods, and that it bought, received, stored and forwarded items that buyers chose on Chinese marketplaces. The listings themselves belonged to sellers on those marketplaces.

Its help pages that summer listed JD, Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian, Xianyu and Xiaohongshu as sources, and said it had begun recognising short English Xiaohongshu links in early April 2026. Items went to its Guangdong warehouse, which the help pages placed in Huizhou.

Any Mulebuy product link you kept therefore points at a listing on one of those marketplaces. The listing is not Mulebuy’s, and it may still be live under its original seller.

How an order moved through it, and how to use this catalogue now

Mulebuy’s August 2026 guide laid out six steps. The buyer found a product by pasting a marketplace link, searching by keyword or searching by image; chose the size or colour, paid for the item and its delivery inside China; Mulebuy’s buyers then placed the order and the seller sent it to the warehouse. The warehouse checked and stored it, the buyer selected items and a shipping line to make a parcel, and paid the international shipping at that point.

Today the first and last parts of that route still work without Mulebuy. You can find a listing from the catalogue shelves here, keep a dated price record for it, and hand the same listing to an agent that is still trading. What changes is only the middle: whose warehouse, whose photos, whose fees.

Mulebuy’s own fee lines in summer 2026

Mulebuy’s headline in 2026 was that it charged no agent service fee. Its FAQ, archived in August 2026, called “zero service fee” its service philosophy and said customers paid for the items and delivery. That was true of the agent fee and not of every charge. The same FAQ said a baseline customs declaration fee was collected on each parcel, typically starting at USD 1.18, and its notices added a flat tax-prepayment charge on every parcel bound for the EU.

Its terms listed the parts of a total in this order: product price, domestic shipping in China, international shipping, a service fee where one applied, insurance where chosen, and any duties or taxes. Optional services were priced on a separate help page, archived in August 2026:

Archived copy of the official help page “Services Fee”, captured August 2026. Prices are the operator’s own figures as published then.
  • Rehearsal packing, a trial pack to learn a parcel’s real weight and size before paying for shipping: 20 yuan per parcel.
  • A photo of the packed parcel before dispatch, showing its packaging and weight: free, one photo.
  • Extra photos beyond the free inspection set, for chosen angles or measurements: 1.5 yuan each, orderable with the order or after the item reached the warehouse.

For a reduced find, those lines mattered in a simple way. A 1.5 yuan photo of the size label or a measurement was the cheapest way to confirm that the version you priced in your record was the version that arrived. The free standard photos, covered next, did not promise that angle.

Its QC photos, and how to check them against the price you paid

Mulebuy’s Services Fee page in August 2026 said standard photos were free and included “3-7 basic shots (front, back, side/logo, details)” taken at fixed angles by warehouse standard, with unclear photos retaken free. The checks behind them looked at appearance, completeness and whether the ordered size or version had arrived, not at materials or how a thing performs.

Reading QC photos for a reduced find means comparing them with your record rather than with the listing photos:

  1. Read the size or variant off the tag shown in the photos; it should be the version in your record.
  2. Check the colour against the option name you priced, under the warehouse’s light rather than the seller’s studio light.
  3. If the order page shows the price the agent actually paid, compare it with the figure in your record for that day.
  4. If something you need is not in the standard set, an extra photo of that detail is cheaper than a return.

These steps work with any agent’s photos; the angles and prices differ from one agent to the next.

Shipping as its archived pages described it

Parcels left the warehouse in Guangdong on lines that buyers chose when they submitted a parcel. The cost depended on the line, the weight and the destination, and the per-parcel declaration fee sat on top. Mulebuy’s notices between May and July 2026 added and withdrew lines several times, so the route list a buyer saw in May was not the one they saw in July.

None of that applies any longer, and we do not reproduce its route prices, which were never published as a fixed table. What carries over is the order of costs: item and domestic delivery when you order, shipping and parcel fees when you send. A reduced item price is one line among several, and on a light item the shipping can be the larger number.

When to use another agent

In summer 2026 Mulebuy offered what many buyers wanted: no agent service fee, a free set of standard photos and cheap extras. As a record of that time, those were real advantages.

On 19 October 2026 we tried its site again and it did not load, as the note at the top of this page says. The available notice archive ends on 31 July 2026. It does not establish whether later announcements exist or whether support currently answers.

So the answer to when to use another agent is: for any order you place now. The listing you found is usually still buyable through any agent, at the seller’s current price, and the price-record habits on this site work the same whichever agent buys. A dated comparison of four agents’ fees is on the home page and the before-you-buy page.

Choosing an agent by what it publishes

Notices and community channels, with dates

Between mid-May and the end of July 2026 Mulebuy’s official notice feed carried changes to shipping lines, an update on fees for EU parcels, a reminder about which email addresses were genuinely its own, and finally, on 31 July 2026, a notice headed “Recent Natural Disaster Impacts” about delayed deliveries. The archived copy of the feed from late August has nothing newer, and we have found nothing since.

The earlier public invite/app descriptions recorded here establish that a page was reachable at that date. They do not establish current service, support responsiveness or the contents of private Discord/Telegram discussions. This review did not join or read those private channels.

Two public posts, two different evidential limits

These original Reddit posts were read through publicly indexed text on 22 October 2026. We have not verified the orders, identities, photographs or payment records. The links may require access that the search excerpt does not. A successful old order and an unresolved recent complaint cannot establish a current delivery rate.

What to do with this evidence

Save dated prices for the same seller, size, colour and quantity. If the agent requests a price difference, compare the current variant with that record before authorising it; a lower headline price may be for another option. Add domestic delivery, conversion and parcel costs before judging the saving. The look-back chart only plots your observations: it cannot see completed sales or prices between visits.

Current access check: home and fee-page requests timed out on 22 October 2026. The cause, operating capacity and individual order outcomes remain unverified. The archived notice feed ends on 31 July 2026; that is the end of the available copy, not proof that no later communication exists. We have no verified private-channel comments to add.
